I just wanted to say how pleased i am with the pastel portrait you have done of my husbands beloved dog Jester. You have captured his sole, and bought him alive!
I have been looking for many years to find some one that could do this for me. I didn't want a painting of a German Shepherd i wanted Jester. And because of your amazing talent we now have him.
Jester has been poorly now for a while and we are aware his condition has no cure and will worsen. I know when Tony see's this  he will cry as i did.  Now because of you we will always have Jest with us.

Dear Marisa,

Your wonderful painting of Rubiks was all framed and completed earlier than I anticipated, so I presented it to my husband for his birthday rather than keep the secret until Christmas! It was a very emotional event, for us both, as you can imagine.
I cannot describe in words our feelings, having our wonderful bear Rubiks immortalised in your painting. It is simply outstanding and takes out breath away. It has pride of place in our lounge.
I cannot thank you enough for producing this fantastic work of art, and for bringing him back to us. We plan to ask you to paint our other Newfoundland Carly later next year. Very best wishes.

As I look into their eyes as I dust their paintings, Marisa has managed to capture  their "being", and just for a moment they are with me again.
She has an amazing ability to capture that special expression and put it onto canvas.
